Bar Torino

Bar Torino is an Italian bar and café on the mezzanine of 50 Hudson Yards, Related Group’s 58-story office tower that is home to the headquarters of BlackRock and Meta. Named for the capital city of Piedmont, Bar Torino is a welcoming place to spend the in-between times that punctuate urban life with delectable ‘little somethings’ to snack or sip on, day or night.

Jacque designed the jaunty logo with inspiration from Italy’s Futurism movement, which took modern novelties like the Vespa or Campari and turned them into iconic household brands. By layering in minimalistic graphic elements and geometric patterns, Jacque added the sense of structure that comes with office life just as return-to-office was finally taking root again post-Covid on the floors above. Bar Torino’s visual identity captures the intersection of frivolity and focus — a duality to which we can all relate.
